Degree Programs:

Indiana University/USPAS Master's Degree Program
Indiana University offers a Master's Degree in Beam Physics and Technology that students can earn by taking USPAS courses.   Thirty credit hours are required, some previous credits can be transferred.  Attend USPAS courses and accumulate Indiana University credit toward your degree.

Michigan State University offers an interactive Master's and Ph.D. program in Beam Physics through its Virtual University. Students participate in video-conference courses and work on interactive, web-based homework problems. A combination of VUBeam courses, courses offered by the US Particle Accelerator School, courses taken in residence at MSU, transferred credit, and thesis work, allow to earn a Master's or Ph.D. Degree in Physics.  Thesis work can be performed within research groups at many accelerator laboratories under the supervision of a local scientist.
